God’s Plans By Elia Vesikula Isaiah 55: 8-9 says, “’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.'” Sometimes it takes weeks, months, or even years to understand what God is doing, and sometimes we might never fully know until we reach eternity with Him. What remains constant through the trials and uncertainty is that God is good no matter the storm circling around you. The Truth About God The Lord is our protector and has our best interest in mind throughout everything He does. He is always working on our behalf through the good and the bad that life throws our way. As children of God, we can stand confidently on the truths that: God will always provide. God works in His timing. God is faithful to His promises. God’s way is better than our ways. God is always good.

The passing of my homeless friend Nafiz by Elia Vesikula

The passing of homeless friend Naziff Mohamed aka Nathan. 31/1/22 It is hard to write this note. want to pass on that one of our homeless and Street Dweller our friend Nathan (Nafiz Mohamed (aka) Nathan has passed on. Police in Lautoka have confirmed to me that his body was found in Vunato creek in Lautoka on Sunday morning. There wre bruise marks found on his body and Police said that could be marks from rocks as Nathans body may have floated down creek. Police said that the postmortem showed that his intestine was affected by glue and was deteriorating. Recent alcohol was also found in the stomach. Police said that he may have been drinking with friends and may have fallen in to the creek. Police from the Lautoka Market Police Station said that his relative have buried him. I still have to follow up on that. He sleeps near the Police Post in the market then when he was around and that is where I use to meet him to give his food in the evenings.
