What God says against sexual immorality?

Fiji and the world has never experience the evil and sin of sexual immorality that is happening in our families, villages, settlement and towns in Fiji. It is getting worse all the time. It’s a regular feature in our courts and in the media. It is taking families apart like it never happened before. It is a stark contrast to what the secular world heralds as Fiji’s greatest achievement. The proudest moment in our times the winning of the 7s Olympic Gold  will never erase this shameful stubborn evil that is committed in our village’s, settlements, towns and cities. There is a record number of families breaking up because of adultery and fornication. Sex before marriage is widespread, sexual abuse and rape is rife. People cannot live the righteous and purity of holiness of God. Morality and good family values in Fiji is breaking down. We stand by stunned and not able to do things to eradicate this curse. Pastors raping disciples, Fathers molesting daughters, grandfathers raping grandchildren and the list worsens. What is the solution?

Below is the word of God against immorality and the way out of this sinful bondage. People have slackened off on following Gods words against sexual immorality. We live in a promiscuous society where teenager and adults alike give themselves up freely to sexual immorality. It is called fun now days. The word fornicate comes from the word phonics a temple in the old days that held open orgy and sexual parties held to honour the goddess Diana in pagan days in Rome. Below are some bible verses to teach us to take us away from these immoral acts and save us from the lake of hell. Pray for your sins and ask God for forgiveness. Accept the Lord Jesus in your heart to lead your life and the Holy Spirit will transform your life and guarantee your place in the eternal kingdom of God the Father.

Parents should discuss these bible verses in family devotions so our children and teenagers can hear and be warned about this sinful act. They are being bombarded with images and stories of sexual immorality in the media and even through their cell phones. Parents should stand up with the armour of God and fight the battle against sexual immorality. The Holy Spirit and the angels of heaven will fight with us. Let us be strong and be courageous to save our children. They are our precious gifts from God. We ask preachers and pastors to preach these to the people. Do not be silent about the subject. People need to be saved from the works and the bondage of sexual immorality. We ask youths and teenagers to live pure and righteous life and don’t give in to whims and desires of the devil and the flesh.

Colossians 3:5

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry

Mark 7:21

 For it is from within, out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come-sexual immorality, theft, murder

Ephesians 5:3

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

1 Thessalonians 4:3

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality

1 Corinthians 6:9

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 7:2

But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.

1 Corinthians 6:13

You say, "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both." The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Hebrews 13:4

Marriage should be honoured by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral

1 Corinthians 6:15

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!

1 Corinthians 6:18-19

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

Lets take the first step and pray for these evil and Holy Spirit will help us.
