Evil of drugs in our communities.

8/1/25 On our way to Suva with my grandson Tu, we distributed food to three families in one of the settlements in Lautoka. They are very very poor families living in tin houses with mud floor. One of the ladies was telling us the story of his son burning down their family home during the Christmas period. We had visted the grandmother and her 3 grand children just a few days before Christmas and prayed with her. We also met her 3 grand children with ragged clothes. When we visted again afrer new year their home was burnt to the ground. No one was injured. The son is addicted to ice and loses his mind some times and always fights and threatens to kill her mother. The grandma is a widow and about 70 years old and looking after his sons three children as they are her grand children and find it hard to abandon her grand children to there drug addicted father. We tell this story to encourage evryone to please to pray about this evil of drug in our communities. We ask families to ask for the Lord Jesus protection and take extra care of their lives especially the elderlies and children. We ask church members,elders and leaders to visit affected families more often and pray with them. Only the Lord Jesus can save us. Praise the Lord.“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14.

VERSY MEDIA NEWS: 30/10/21 Vision of the church. By Elia Vesikula Occasionally God shows me vision of what is happening and what is to come. Recently I was shown a vision that I was standing in a very large church and was standing up front as I was about to deliver a sermon. My green bible was opened in front of me on a table covered with white cloth. However as I waited no one was in the church, the pews were empty. I then took a walk around the church to wait for the people. Then as I looked again the entire church was filled to capacity and there was a person preaching standing in front where I had my bible placed. People were applauding him in their praise. The passing of my homeless friend Nafiz by Elia Vesikula

The passing of homeless friend Naziff Mohamed aka Nathan. 31/1/22 It is hard to write this note. want to pass on that one of our homeless and Street Dweller our friend Nathan (Nafiz Mohamed (aka) Nathan has passed on. Police in Lautoka have confirmed to me that his body was found in Vunato creek in Lautoka on Sunday morning. There wre bruise marks found on his body and Police said that could be marks from rocks as Nathans body may have floated down creek. Police said that the postmortem showed that his intestine was affected by glue and was deteriorating. Recent alcohol was also found in the stomach. Police said that he may have been drinking with friends and may have fallen in to the creek. Police from the Lautoka Market Police Station said that his relative have buried him. I still have to follow up on that. He sleeps near the Police Post in the market then when he was around and that is where I use to meet him to give his food in the evenings.
