Are you willing to work and walk with your Lord for the lost world.

ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK AND WALK WITH YOUR LORD FOR THE LOST WORLD As I reflect on the words of Luke 15, I am filled with a deep sense of emotion and awe at the incredible love and compassion that Jesus demonstrated toward those who were lost, marginalized, and forgotten. In this chapter, we are given a glimpse into the heart of God and the unrelenting pursuit of his Kingdom, which is marked by joy, celebration, and redemption. Jesus begins this chapter by telling a parable of a lost sheep, where a shepherd leaves behind his 99 sheep to search for the one that is lost. This story illustrates the depth of God's love for his people, and his willingness to go to great lengths to seek out those who are lost and bring them back into the fold. Next, Jesus tells the story of a woman who loses a coin and searches her entire house until she finds it. This parable highlights the immense value that God places on each and every one of us, and how he rejoices when even one sinner repents and turns towards him. Finally, we are given the story of the prodigal son, who squanders his inheritance and ends up destitute and alone. Yet, when he returns to his father, he is greeted with open arms and a lavish celebration, despite his wayward ways. This parable illustrates the incredible grace and forgiveness that God extends to all who repent and turn towards him, no matter how far they have strayed. Through these parables, Jesus shows us the heart of God and the incredible power of his Kingdom. He demonstrates that God is not interested in punishing sinners, but rather in redeeming them and bringing them back into a relationship with him. He shows us that the Kingdom of God is marked by joy, celebration, and redemption and that nothing can separate us from the love of God. As I read these words, my heart is filled with gratitude and awe at the incredible love and compassion of Jesus. I am reminded that no matter how lost or broken we may feel, God is always there, waiting with open arms to welcome us home. May we all take comfort in the words of Luke 15 and the incredible hope and redemption that they offer us Luke 15:1-7 contains the parable of the lost sheep. In this parable, Jesus tells the story of a shepherd who leaves his 99 sheep to search for one lost sheep. When he finds the lost sheep, he rejoices and celebrates. God values every individual: Just as the shepherd left his 99 sheep to search for one lost sheep, God values every individual and is willing to go to great lengths to seek and save those who are lost. 2. God is merciful: The parable emphasizes the mercy of God towards those who are lost. When the lost sheep was found, the shepherd did not scold or punish it but instead celebrated its return. 3. We should seek out those who are lost: The parable encourages us to seek out those who are lost, just as the shepherd went after the lost sheep. Heaven rejoices when a lost soul is found: The parable teaches us that when a lost soul is found, there is great rejoicing in heaven. We should be mindful of this and rejoice when someone comes to faith in Christ. Overall, the parable of the lost sheep reminds us of the love, mercy, and grace of God towards those who are lost. It also challenges us to be proactive in seeking out those who are lost and sharing the gospel message with them Luke 15:8-10 contains the parable of the lost coin. In this parable, Jesus tells the story of a woman who loses a valuable coin and searches her house diligently until she finds it. When she finds the coin, she rejoices and celebrates with her friends and neighbors. Here are some lessons we can learn from this parable: 1. Every person is valuable to God: Just as the woman searched for the lost coin diligently because it was valuable to her, God values every person and seeks them out when they are lost. 2. God's joy over the repentance of sinners: The woman in the parable rejoices and celebrates when she finds the lost coin. Similarly, God rejoices when a sinner repents and turns to Him. 3. The importance of diligence in seeking the lost: The woman in the parable searched diligently for the lost coin until she found it. Similarly, we should be diligent in seeking out those who are lost and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with them. 4. The importance of community: The woman in the parable celebrates with her friends and neighbors when she finds the lost coin. Similarly, when a person comes to faith in Christ, it is important to celebrate with them and welcome them into the community of believers. Overall, the parable of the lost coin teaches us about the value of every person to God, the joy of repentance, the importance of diligence in seeking the lost, and the importance of community in celebrating the return of the lost. Luke 15:11-32 is a parable told by Jesus about a father and his two sons. The story is commonly known as the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Here are some key lessons that can be learned from this passage: 1. God is like the father in the story, who loves his children unconditionally and is willing to forgive them no matter what mistakes they make. 2. The younger son represents people who have strayed away from God and have made poor choices in life. However, it shows that it is never too late to repent and return to God, who will always welcome us back with open arms. 3. The elder son represents people who think they are entitled to God's love and blessings because of their gobehaviorour. However, it shows that we ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK AND WALK WITH YOUR LORD FOR THE LOST WORLD should not be jealous or resentful of others who have turned their lives around and received forgiveness and mercy from God. 4. This parable also emphasizes the importance of forgiveness and reconciliation. It shows that we should not hold grudges or refuse to forgive those who have wronged us, just as the father forgave his younger son and welcomed him home. 5. Finally, it highlights the joy and celebration that comes when someone who was lost is found. It reminds us that God rejoices over one sinner who repents and that we too should rejoice when someone turns their life around and comes back to God. Overall, the Parable of the Prodigal Son teaches us about the love, forgiveness, and mercy of God, and encourages us to show the same qualities to others in our lives. As Christians, we are called to love and serve others, just as Jesus did during His time on earth. In Luke 15, Jesus shares the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son to illustrate the depth of God's love for each and every one of us. So, my heartfelt message to you is this: no matter where you are in your faith journey, know that you are loved beyond measure by a God who is always seeking after you. There is a great need for more dedicated workers to join us, so come and be a part of this important mission. Let us remember to extend this same love and grace to those around us who may be lost and in need of a Saviour.
